Vorher bei der Pre-Show von Opening Night Live und heute in der illustren Villa. Der Story-Trailer für die mit Spannung erwartete Virtual-Reality-Neuauflage von The 7th Guest VR wurde inmitten von Branchenikonen bei Geoff Keyleighs Pre-Show der Gamescom Opening Night Live enthüllt. Und das ist noch nicht alles... Auch das Veröffentlichungsdatum wurde enthüllt. Die bahnbrechende und mysteriöse VR-Adaption des Kultklassikers The 7th Guest VR erscheint am 19. Oktober, pünktlich zur Gruselsaison, für Meta Quest 2, PlayStation VR 2

"Mit The 7th Guest VR wollen wir die Grenzen dessen, was in der virtuellen Realität möglich ist, verschieben, genau wie es das Originalspiel mit der CD-Rom getan hat", sagt Paul van der Meer, Game Director von The 7th Guest VR. "Der Story-Trailer zeigt die wahren Errungenschaften der volumetrischen Erfassung auf diesem Niveau und gibt den Spielern einen Vorgeschmack auf die intensive Atmosphäre, während sie die Charaktere dabei beobachten, wie sie die seltsamen Geschehnisse in der Villa und die unheimlichen Gründe, die sie dorthin gebracht haben, erforschen".
