Dit gloednieuwe deel in de populaire Fate-serie is nu verkrijgbaar voor PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™ en pc Windows via Steam®.

In de hele Fate-franchise vechten paren van masters en heldhaftige geesten – ook wel bekend als servants – zich een weg door de geschiedenis. Het duo dat als laatste overblijft in deze Holy Grail Wars ontvangt een oude kunstschat die wensen in vervulling doet gaan. In Fate/Samurai Remnant wordt de epische Holy Grail War vervolgd in het vierde jaar van het Keian-tijdperk in Edoperiode Japan. Het is dan enkele decennia geleden dat een turbulent, bloederig tijdperk eindigde. Terwijl de mensen eindelijk genieten van rust en vrede, vindt in de schaduwen het Waxing Moon Ritual plaats en staat de strijd tussen zeven paren masters en servants op het punt te beginnen. De held van het verhaal is Miyamoto Iori, een jongeman uit Asakusa, die samen met zijn servant Saber wordt betrokken in het strijdgewoel. Samen gaan ze de strijd aan om als laatste duo over te blijven en zo in het bezit te komen van een voorwerp dat wensen vervult, de Waxing Moon Vessel.
