Prime Matter et Smilegate annoncent aujourd’hui que le STR Crossfire: Legion sera disponible en accès anticipé sur Steam au printemps 2022.
Basé sur l’univers populaire Crossfire, le jeu permet de s’affronter dans des combats de factions afin de dominer le monde.
Avec son accès anticipé, les joueurs du monde entier pourront prendre part à un STR moderne, offrant la possibilité de façonner et de définir le jeu à l’aide de modes, cartes et unités de combat.
Crossfire: Legion est développé par le studio canadien Blackbird Interactive. Maurice Grela, game designer, a déclaré que la communauté et les retours des joueurs étaient des éléments clés pour le développement du jeu.
« Les joueurs de STR savent ce qu’ils veulent et ce qu’un jeu moderne doit proposer. Nous offrons aux fans du genre la possibilité d’être impliqués dans le processus de développement. Nous avons d’excellents modes de jeu et fonctionnalités à dévoiler au fil des prochains mois. Nous cherchons également à ajouter une tonne de nouveau contenu avec la sortie de l’accès anticipé ».
Les développeurs ont également révélé la roadmap de Crossfire: Legion, dévoilant ainsi les nouveautés à venir à la suite de l’arrivée prochaine de l’accès anticipé, comprenant notamment une troisième faction.
Les joueurs qui souhaitent rejoindre l’action peuvent s’inscrire afin d’avoir la chance d’être tirés au sort pour participer au « Technical Test ». Ils auront la possibilité de choisir parmi les factions Blacklist et Global Risk et s’affronter sur deux cartes en 1v1 ou 3v3.
