KOEI TECMO Europe est très heureux d’annoncer que BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light, la suite très attendue du JRPG BLUE REFLECTION sorti 2017, est actuellement en développement par le studio Gust. Le retour de cette franchise est prévu en Europe pour le 9 novembre 2021 et sortira sur Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5 grâce à une mise à niveau gratuite et PC via Steam®.
 
BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light suit les aventures de trois étudiantes, Ao Hoshizaki, Kokoro Utsubo, et Yuki Kinjou. Alors qu’elles se retrouvent transportées sur une mystérieuse académie flottante à la recherche d’indices pour retrouver le chemin de leur maison, elles semblent avoir perdu tout souvenir et ne se rappellent plus que de leur nom. Un jour, un chemin menant à un autre monde apparait, mais lorsque les trois jeunes filles s’apprêtent à en révéler les mystères, elles sont immédiatement rejointes par une horde de monstres sanguinaires. En affrontant ces viles créatures, elles débloquent ainsi des pouvoirs jusqu’alors inconnus, qui ne font qu’accentuer le caractère cryptique de leur environnement. Au cours de leur aventure, les trois amies coopèrent et luttent pour rendre leur vie quotidienne aussi riche et amusante que possible. Tout en passant chaque jour coincées dans ce monde mystérieux, leurs vrais sentiments et personnalités se révèlent. Tandis que leur lien ne cesse de se renforcer, elles acquièrent de nouveaux pouvoirs et de nouvelles capacités.
 
Non seulement nos héroïnes seront capables de construire leur académie idéale tout au long de leur périple, mais elles pourront également fabriquer des objets ensemble. En fonction de la combinaison des personnages choisie, les propriétés de l’objet peuvent alors varier, déclenchant même parfois des conversations spéciales. En faisant évoluer les relations de vos protagonistes, et donc leur amitié, les trois étudiantes s’approcheront davantage du mystère qui entoure ce monde et finiront par toucher du doigt l’explication quant à leur perte de mémoire.
 
En plus de ce premier aperçu de gameplay et de ces informations sur le scénario, KOEI TECMO a également annoncé que le célèbre illustrateur Mel Kishida sera une nouvelle fois en charge des visuels des personnages. Les dessins richement détaillés composeront le jeu BLUE REFLECTION: Second Light mais également le tout nouvel anime, appelé BLUE REFLECTION: Ray.
