21:00 BST 10 JUNE 2024 Dead Island 2, the multi-award nominated Action RPG is coming to the Mac. Available later this year, via the Mac App Store, the game lets players explore an iconic, gore-drenched Los Angeles (or HELL-A, as we like to call it).
Dead Island 2 runs natively on Macs with Apple silicon, featuring incredible performance, smooth and immersive gameplay, with support for software technologies in macOS like HDR and MetalFX Upscaling.
In the game, a deadly outbreak is spreading across the city, turning inhabitants into zombies. Bitten, infected, but more than just immune, you have to uncover the truth behind the chaos and discover who - or what - you are.
Facing a legion of undead foes (each with their own mutations, attacks and LA-themed variations) all hell-bent on your grizzly destruction; you have a plethora of weapons to dispense ultraviolence and, hopefully, survive, evolve and become the ultimate Zombie Slayer.
