KOEI TECMO Europe en ontwikkelaar Gust kondigen vandaag aan dat FAIRY TAIL 2, hun nieuwe Action RPG gebaseerd op de populaire FAIRY TAIL-serie, vanaf 13 december 2024 verkrijgbaar zal zijn*. Om dit te vieren is er een nieuwe trailer onthuld waarin fans de eerste beelden kunnen zien van de epische actie die ze te wachten staat. FAIRY TAIL 2 is een vervolg op de KOEI TECMO game uit 2020 en is nu in ontwikkeling voor PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™ en Windows PC via Steam®.

De nieuw onthulde trailer geeft spelers een eerste blik op de snelle, heldhaftige magische gevechten die Natsu en het team aan moeten gaan om hun aartsvijand Zeref, Emperor Spriggan of the Alvarez Empire te verslaan. De gevechten zijn volledig vernieuwd om zo de spannende actie tijdens gevechten te weerspiegelen. Fans krijgen de kans om alle vaardigheden van de FAIRY TAIL-guild leden te gebruiken om hun tegenstanderds te verslaan. Ze moeten gebruik maken van de synergie tussen verschillende personages om zo verwoestende aanvallen te gebruiken om zo Zeref en zijn elitemagiërs genaamd de Spriggan 12 te verslaan.
Naast de standard edition kunnen fans ook twee special editions pre-orderen: de “FAIRY TAIL 2 GUILD BOX” met de basisgame, visual artbook “Sorcerer Magazine Special Issue: Game Release Edition Vol.2” geïnspireerd door ‘Sorcerer Magazine’ uit het originele werk, een Special Shikishi met Holographic Finish (3 soorten in totaal) en meer. Fans kunnen ook de “FAIRY TAIL 2 COMBO SET” pre-orderen naast de items inbegrepen in de GUILD BOX een Special Illustrated Canvas Art met afgedrukte handtekening van bedenker Hiro Mashima.
Iedereen die FAIRY TAIL 2 fysiek of digitaal koopt vóór 6 februari 2025 ontvangt het “Miss FAIRY TAIL Contest”-kostuum voor Lucy als bonus.
FAIRY TAIL 2 is vanaf 13 december 2024 verkrijgbaar op PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™ en op 12 november 2024 op Windows PC via Steam®. FAIRY TAIL 2 bevat Japanse stemmen met Engelse en Franse schermteksten.
