Sydney, Australia - 3rd October 2025: PLAION REPLAI, a leading global publisher and developer of retro video games and consoles, announced the release of three officially licensed arcade classics - PAC-MAN Double Feature, Dig Dug, and Xevious, with each arriving on 21st November 2025 for Atari’s 2600+ and 7800+ consoles. Each title will also be fully compatible with the original Atari 7800 system.
This line-up celebrates a pivotal moment in gaming history, with PLAION inviting players to ‘Unlock 1982’ - the year that defined the golden age of the arcade. 1982 was the year PAC-MAN chomped onto the Atari 2600 and both Dig Dug and Xevious burst onto the scene in Japan. These new releases bring that legacy back to life in authentic cartridge form, allowing fans to relive the era when the arcade ruled the world.

Dig Dug – Dig Deep. Pump Fast!

Xevious – Blast the Sky. Bomb the Earth.

“These games aren’t just nostalgic releases, they’re cultural touchstones,” said Ben Jones, Commercial Director of PLAION REPLAI. “…we’re celebrating 1982 as the year that defined the golden age of arcades.
