Laura ‘Lightning’ Jansen wins the Dragon Cosplay Summit Contest 2013

Berlin, 05 of September 2013: Fine feathers make fine birds, but it’s cosplay that makes the stars shine the brightest! Berlin-based publisher Infernum supports those creative stars who bring virtual characters to life through their impressive dresses and outfits. In close cooperation with several partners during the past few weeks, Infernum was able to host its own competition called the “Dragon Cosplay Summit Contest 2013”. During this year’s Gamescom in Cologne, more than 300,000 visitors could marvel at many fantastic costumes for the MMORPG Dragon’s Prophet.

With her impressive, hand-crafted armour, Laura ‘Lightning’ Jansen was not only able to win the hearts of the Dragon’s Prophet community, but she also came out on top at the Dragon Cosplay Summit 2013. With 37.8 percent of the votes, Laura made it to first place and can now enjoy €2,500 worth of prizes. On top of that, she will be able to design an additional, virtual costume that Runewaker and Infernum will bring to life in Dragon’s Prophet.

“I fell in love with the armour the moment I saw it”, says winner Laura Jansen. “The most important thing for me is that I like the design of the character and that it suits me. This armour from Dragon’s Prophet is very feminine and I really love the strong, dark colours.”
