Der beliebte taktische Shooter erscheint für PlayStation 4 und Xbox One

München, 27. Februar 2020: Focus Home Interactive und New World Interactive geben der Konsolenversion von Insurgency: Sandstorm ein Veröffentlichungsdatum – Spieler von PlayStation 4 und Xbox One dürfen sich auf den 25. August 2020 freuen. Insurgency: Sandstorm konnte bereits eine Millionen Fans auf dem PC begeistern und wurde mehrfach für seinen Realismus, die intensiven Close-Combat-Kämpfe sowie sein kooperatives Gameplay gelobt und ausgezeichnet.

Insurgency: Sandstorm zeigt Konsolenspielern, was ein Hardcore-Shooter ist: tödliche Munition, zerstörerische Artillerie und beispielloses Audiodesign. Der Tod kommt schnell, die Munitionsreserven sind begrenzt, und die Karte muss zum eigenen Vorteil genutzt werden, um überhaupt eine Chance auf den Sieg zu haben.

„Der Konsolenmarkt sehnt sich schon lange Zeit nach einem modernen Hardcore-Shooter. Es ist ein großer Schritt für unser Unternehmen, die bewährte PC-Formel jetzt auch auf die Konsolen zu übertragen, und wir sind entsprechend davon begeistert, unser Projekt erstmalig auf weiteren Plattformen zu veröffentlichen“, sagt Keith Warner, Präsident von New World Interactive.  

Insurgency: Sandstorm wird am 25. August 2020 für PlayStation 4 und Xbox One veröffentlicht.
