THE BATTLE ESCALATES IN THREE NEW DAWN OF WAR IV BATTLEFIELD REPORTS

Advanced 1v1 Combat Takes Centre Stage, With 2v2 Multiplayer and Team Skirmish Still to Come

9 September 2026: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV developer KING Art Games is taking players deeper into the game’s multiplayer with three new Battlefield Reports, beginning today with an advanced 1v1 Annihilation showdown between the Orks and Necrons.

The new Battlefield Reports build on the multiplayer action shown so far, showcasing more advanced strategies, units and late-game combat, expand the fight with 2v2 multiplayer and take a first look at 2v2 Team Skirmish.

Bartfield Report #3 - Orks vs. Necrons – 1v1 Annihilation

Today’s Battlefield Report sees Creative Director Jan Theysen face QA Lead Orvie Thumel, KING Art’s best Dawn of War IV player and a former Dawn of War II shoutcaster and elite player, in a 1v1 Annihilation battle.

Orvie commands the Necrons, showcasing more of their unit roster and previously unseen late-game capabilities, while Jan leads the Orks into battle.

The battlefield report also gives players a look at configurable match settings and some of the ongoing development work to improve battlefield readability, including changes to the Necron Power Matrix, informed by ongoing community feedback.
